“Silver Beach” is the given nickname to our beach, and not for nothing: kilometers and kilometers of white fine sand, gently sloping towards the Adriatic blue waters.
Our sea bottoms are particularly safe: shallow waters, stratching out to sea for tens of meters, make our beaches the safest for the youngest.

Territorio
During your stay at the B&B Alba D’Abruzzo, you can unwind to a total relax and rest, but if you are going to find yourself tired from “too much resting”, here are some tips about the places to absolutely pay visit to: the majestic mountain complex of Gran Sasso: the gorgeous Torre del Cerrano (Cerrano Tower); the characteristic “trabocchi” (fishing net devices on wooden stilts), the Borbonic fortress of Civitella Del Tronto, the ruins of the Calascio castle.
All the territory is a myriad of natural beauties, artistic and cultural evidences, places full of history and spirituality... Very beautiful, the “Gole del Salinello” (Salinello river gorges); lots of historical custom revivals, nearby the B&B Alba D’Abruzzo ( ranging from the Quintana of Ascoli Piceno to the Palio del Barone) in Tortoreto.
Food and wine
Alba Adriatica and Abruzzo, offer the gourmet an extraordinary variety of food temptations: fish and sea food, from our Adriatic Sea, earth mouth-watering flavours combined in different tasty ways, paired with great wines from our generous vineyards.
The suggestions are so many that is almost impossible in just a few lines to give a comprehensive view: “timballo”, “spaghetti alla chitarra”, “brodetto di pesce”, the famous “rustelle” (wood skewered sheep meat), Baccalà of Sant’Omero (dehydrated codfish) and much, much more.
